In The Mids is a full-circle moment for Sola Rosa. Returning to solo production after years as a live band, Andrew Spraggon crafted ten tracks of groove-led soul, electronic textures, and live instrumentation. The Covid lockdowns allowed him to rethink his approach, experimenting with new tools and styles and letting go of the self-imposed rules of making music for a live band. Featuring vocalists and musicians from New Zealand and Australia, the album blends playful, experimental production with the unmistakable Sola Rosa sound.
