Searching For Love

‘Searching For Love’ is a song about not having to look any further for ‘the one’. A sense of winning the lottery maybe. In the lyrics I sing “for every grain of sand, just for you I’d be a drop of water right from the sea” as if to say, I’ll give you everything. It’s a positive easy listener but at the same time I can imagine dancing to it in a massive crowd. It’s got that timeless vibe to it. A classic of sorts. The song came together quite quickly, when I sat down in the studio I heard the first stages of the beat and thought “yep, that one” and it kind of wrote it self. I guess I always try to write from my life experiences so this wasn’t too difficult. Straight from the heart. Was a great session in King’s Cross, London with Andrew from Sola Rosa. Great producer and a top man!
